Spread the Word to End the Word

Many of us know how hurtful the “r” word can be. Recently we have seen a great deal of public use of the word. The great news is that we also see a significant push back, making it more and more socially unacceptable.
Even so, it can be disheartening when we hear people actually defending its use. Obviously, they don’t know someone who has intellectual or developmental disabilities. If you’re still not convinced, look at this video.
You can make a difference by participating in our Best Buddies Month activities to Spread the Word to End the Word.
